These Terms explain how you may use ginhawa, what its wellbeing features can offer, and the responsibilities that come with your account. Read them together with our Privacy Policy.

This website

This public website is a product showcase. Screenshot browsing does not collect assessment answers, access student records, generate AI guidance, or book appointments. App accounts and participation follow the terms below. Website data practices are described in the Privacy policy.

About ginhawa

ginhawa is a student wellbeing support application developed as a BSCS capstone at STI College Caloocan. It offers stress and psychological-distress self-assessments, daily mood check-ins, stress-factor calibration, wellbeing recommendations, personal history, and consultation scheduling. Its development as a capstone does not imply official school endorsement, clinical validation, or approval for institutional deployment.

Who may participate

The intended student pilot is for participants aged 18 and above who meet the participation arrangements explained by the research team. If you are under 18, do not register or submit personal wellbeing information for this pilot. Use your own identity and provide accurate account and student information. Student-number validation alone does not verify your age or enrollment.

Your account and responsible use

Keep your sign-in details secure and do not share your account. You may sign in using the authentication methods offered in the app, including email/password or Google. Do not impersonate another person, access someone else’s records, submit another person’s private information, interfere with the service, or bypass security controls. Avoid including names, contact details, passwords, or other identifying information in optional reflections or custom entries.

Signing out, uninstalling the app, and deleting an account are different actions. Signing out or uninstalling does not erase records already stored online.

Wellbeing support, not diagnosis or emergency care

ginhawa supports reflection and general wellbeing. An assessment score or category is not a medical or psychological diagnosis. General Recommendations, AI Recommendations, activity guides, and videos do not replace advice, assessment, or treatment from a qualified professional. No particular improvement is guaranteed. Suggestions are optional; stop an activity if it feels uncomfortable.

ginhawa is not an emergency response service. Scores, mood entries, and messages are not continuously monitored, and entering a serious concern does not guarantee that someone will contact you. If you need urgent help, seek immediate assistance from local emergency services, a qualified professional, or a nearby trusted person when safe.

AI-Generated Wellness Recommendations

ginhawa provides AI-assisted wellness recommendations through Cloudflare Workers AI using the Gemma model when the service and your account preference are enabled. Assessments, General Recommendations, saved history and support resources remain available. There is no active fallback to Google Gemini in this version.

When enabled, selected assessment information, selected stress factors, relevant same-day moods and assigned General Recommendations are processed through the authenticated Cloudflare gateway as described in the Privacy Policy. Read the updated notice before use. Accepting these Terms does not replace any separately required permission or research-participation consent.

AI guidance is informational and optional support, not a diagnosis, professional evaluation, medical advice or prescribed treatment. Suitability and improvement are not guaranteed. Seek qualified help when needed. Accepting these Terms or the Privacy Policy does not enable AI. On the first-use medical disclaimer, the AI toggle starts on for the full ginhawa experience. You can turn it off before continuing; your choice is saved only when you continue. When on, personalized guidance requires sending selected wellness information to Cloudflare. Leaving it off uses General Recommendations without new AI processing. You can change this choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & AI → AI recommendations. Turning AI off prevents new recommendation requests from this version to Cloudflare. Assessments, General Recommendations, support resources and saved AI guidance remain available. Requests already sent cannot be recalled. Service-wide availability controls and daily limits override your enabled preference.

AI cards and optional guides are generated together and saved with the assessment. See More and historical views make no new model request. Daily limits affect AI generation only; results, General Recommendations and support resources remain available. Thesis post-testing remains voluntary under the applicable participant consent procedures.

Consultation requests and support resources

Scheduling lets you request an appointment through the existing Guidance Associate workflow. A request is not a confirmed appointment until an authorized Associate accepts it. Check the status and notifications for updates. Availability, response times, and support outcomes are not guaranteed. Administrative participation in testing does not establish professional qualifications or authorization to provide counseling.

Support Resources may help you find services outside ginhawa. Their availability and terms are controlled by those services. Do not rely on an unconfirmed consultation request when urgent help is needed.

Your information and participation choices

The Privacy Policy explains the information handled by the student app and related administrative features. Optional reflections and activities remain your choice. Agreeing to these Terms and acknowledging the Privacy Policy do not waive your privacy rights or give blanket permission for unrelated research. Any additional research use or processing that requires separate permission must be explained appropriately.

You may stop using the app. Stopping participation does not automatically delete existing records; contact the research team to discuss your privacy request and available options.

Account-deletion requests

Students may submit an account-deletion request through Settings → Account using their own verified Firebase sign-in. Submission requires confirmation and recent password or Google reauthentication. Requests are stored securely in Firestore; submitting a request does not immediately delete or disable the account. An authorized Super Admin reviews ownership in the trusted local management system and separately confirms permanent deletion. We target completion within 30 calendar days after ownership verification.

Permanent deletion removes the Firebase sign-in account, profile and nested records, assessments and saved guidance, moods, stress factors, calibration, feedback, problem reports, preferences, linked consultation application records and notifications, and identifiable derived reports. Unrelated students’ records and shared guidance associate availability are preserved. Your student number remains reserved to prevent reassignment; the reservation has no profile or account link. No wellness information is retained for research or analytics after deletion.

You may view Pending, Processing, or Failed status while your account remains active. Access ends when permanent processing begins. An interrupted operation stays available for the operator to retry safely; it is not treated as completed until cleanup is verified. A minimal completed audit is retained for 90 days, without your name, email, student number, account identifier, or wellness content, then removed through local maintenance. Provider-held copies and disconnected devices follow the limits explained in the Privacy Policy.

If you cannot sign in, first use password recovery or your existing Google account. If that fails, email ginhawa.support@gmail.com for operator-assisted recovery. An authorized operator must establish ownership through an approved recovery process; a student number alone is insufficient. Do not send passwords. Permanent processing is available through authorized local Super Admin operators, requires explicit confirmation for each case, and never happens automatically on submission. These Terms do not establish institutional approval.

Availability, changes, and your rights

ginhawa is a prototype and may experience errors, maintenance, connection problems, or interruptions. Do not rely on it as your only source of support or your only record of an important appointment. Keep important appointment details somewhere you can access independently.

These Terms may be revised to reflect the service and its approved arrangements. Material changes should be brought to your attention before the changed terms or processing applies, with renewed permission where required. Nothing here removes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Philippine law.
